The Raptors Fall To The Hawks In A Hard Fought Battle, 9-8
Boise, ID — June 19, 2026 — The Raptors travelled to Boise coming off of a three-game series sweep over the Red Pocket Mobiles. They started off game one of their six game series against the Hawks just the way they wanted.
Sebastian Greico’s three-run homer in the top of the third put the Raptors up 3-1, and then a Cole Jordan double and Carmine Lane triple in the top of the fourth gave the Raptors a 6-1 advantage. The Hawks battled back in the bottom of the fourth with two homers of their own and a few extra base hits to get within one run.
Colson Lawrence homered in the top of the sixth, and Chase Valentine knocked one out of the park in the top of the seventh to increase the Raptors lead, 8-5.
But the Hawks would not give up. A one-run seventh inning got them within two, and then a three-run eighth inning ultimately gave them the one-run advantage that they ended the game with.
From a pitching standpoint it was a full team effort for both teams. The Raptors used four pitchers with their starter, Lucas Boesen, only going 3.1 innings. For the Hawks, they used five pitchers with their starter going 3.2 innings.
Boesen allowed five runs off of nine hits. The bullpen, made up of Jose Ballista, Nolan Ficklin and Kyle Lewis combined to allow four runs off of three hits.
The Raptors will take on the Hawks in game two of the series tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.
