Ogden Raptors Announce 2025 Athletic Trainer

Ogden, Utah - February 28, 2025

The Ogden Raptors Professional Baseball Team is excited to announce the hiring of Head Athletic Trainer, Baylee Blanchard. “Yippee!!!” Dave Baggott, the Raptors President/Owner said after Baylee was brought on board earlier this week. “She is well-qualified, baseball-minded and awesome!”

Baylee Blanchard brings an extensive background in athletic training, sports medicine, and competitive athletics to the Ogden Raptors organization. A former Division I softball player, she played her club ball for Rampage Fast Pitch, earning a Triple Crown World Series Championship in 2015. Her high school & collegiate career was filled with achievements, including being named Rookie of the Year (2017), team MVP (2019), and tying the Utah State record for grand slams. She was also a key contributor to Weber State's 2021 Big Sky Conference Regular Season Championship team.  

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Weber State University in 2024 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2025, further enhancing her expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athlete performance optimization.  

With firsthand experience as a high-level athlete, Baylee understands the demands of competitive sports and is committed to keeping athletes healthy and performing at their peak. Her expertise in rehabilitation, functional movement assessments, and injury prevention makes her a vital asset to the Raptors.

“I’m really big into the injury prevention side of things, so to have someone on board that is going to take all of that over and really take care of our guys is huge!” said Field Manager Evan Parker, “I’m stoked to have her!”

The Ogden Raptors will open the 2025 season on the road in Oakland, California where the Raptors will take on the Oakland B’s (Ballers) for the first time. The team will then return to Ogden for the Home Opener on Tuesday, May 27th with a 6:30 PM First Pitch. Season Tickets, Friday-Saturday Ticket Packages, and Box Seat Vouchers are on sale now.
