Raptors V Jacks Game 4
Ogden, UT
On a night where the Raptors needed to bounce back into the win column, they took a solid start from Mitch Stone and ran to the hills, asserting their presence in all three phases of their game and showing out in front of a packed home crowd of 4642. Connor Bagnieski and Chris Sargent got the party started in the first inning, each launching solo shots to give the Raptors the early lead, and more importantly, to give Mitch Stone some needed run support. Connor Bagnieski and Druw Brutcher both had incredible performances, tallying four homeruns in total across their seven at bats. The whole lineup got in on the action and Mitch Stone took what the starting 9 gave him and did exactly what he needed to do. Chris Sargent also had an impressive night with the bat, going 3 for 4 at the plate with two rbis of his own to speak of. A great night at the plate, in the field, and on the bump, the Raptors synergized all phases of their game together and it resulted in one of their most well rounded performances of the year. The combination of solid length from their starting pitchers as well as their bats exploding onto the ball proved to be potent tonight as they decisively took the game four win at home. Evening up the series at two games a piece, they’re looking to take the series lead starting tomorrow evening at 6:30 here at Lindquist Field.
